The highest-value engineering work often spans years. Features evolve, platforms change and a game keeps moving through production, release and live development. An embedded team can carry the reasoning behind the code through all of those stages.

We become part of your studio’s day-to-day engineering process. We learn the codebase, take ownership of agreed systems, join the conversations with your leads, designers, artists and QA, and keep the work aligned with the production roadmap. Your game’s priorities guide our decisions.

Technical depth across the whole game.

We can help across gameplay systems, engine architecture, graphics, CPU and GPU performance, platform integration and the tools around the build. The team can own a complete platform SKU, a substantial engineering area, or several connected workstreams as part of a longer partnership.

Our specialists bring their depth into the studio’s shared delivery process. A rendering change, gameplay feature or platform fix is reviewed as part of the game your team is making, with clear ownership of its dependencies and impact.

Bring the hardware conversation into your game’s development.

When a problem crosses the engine, graphics API or driver boundary, we can act as an engineering liaison with hardware and platform teams. We prepare reproducible cases, discuss the evidence, investigate proposed fixes and integrate the result back into the game.

Our experience working with AMD, Intel, Qualcomm, Arm and Samsung helps us navigate those technical conversations. Your team gets an engineering partner who can follow an issue through the software and hardware stack and keep the findings connected to your delivery priorities.

04 / The partnership

Stay with the game through the next milestone, and the next.

We work in your source control, build infrastructure and review process. Progress is visible in the roadmap and the builds, with direct access to the engineers responsible for the work. We plan changes in scope and capacity with your producers and technical leads.

The relationship can continue through new platforms, release preparation, updates and the next stage of the game. We agree release, support and handover responsibilities as the work evolves, preserving the knowledge your studio needs to maintain and extend what we build.

A clear starting commitment

16 weeks to get established and deliver.

Ramp-up is included. We begin with access, a working build and agreed ownership, then deliver through four four-week sprints with reviews every two weeks. The partnership can continue with your roadmap.

Planning the partnership.

What does full-SKU mean here?

An embedded engineering partnership with clear ownership of a complete platform SKU or substantial, connected parts of the game. We agree the scope, team responsibilities and delivery goals with your studio.

Can the engagement run for multiple years?

Yes. This model is designed for continuity across production, release and ongoing development. We begin with a 16-week commitment including ramp-up, then plan continuation and capacity around the studio’s roadmap.

How does ramp-up work?

We establish access, get the project building, learn the relevant systems and agree ownership with your leads. These activities are included in the initial commitment and start alongside the first investigations and delivery tasks.

Does the scope include art, QA and certification?

We work alongside your production, art and QA teams. The engineering, testing, certification and release responsibilities we own are agreed with your studio as part of the engagement.

Do you provide post-release support?

Ship-and-support responsibilities and the support period are defined as part of the engagement.

What could we take ownership of together?

Tell us where the project is today, which systems or platforms need attention and how you want the team to work together. We shape the engagement around your priorities, with a ramp-up plan, clear responsibilities and reviewable progress from the start.
