Built by the people doing the work
The Graphics Programming Conference brings real-time and interactive graphics programmers together in Breda. Established in 2024, it is organised by Johan Andersson, Jasper Bekkers and Matthäus Chajdas, the “ABC of graphics” named on the conference’s own About page.
Jasper Bekkers, Traverse’s founder, chairs the independent conference foundation. GPC is co-hosted with Breda University of Applied Sciences.
A place for implementation-level conversations
GPC gives practitioners a place to share advances in rendering, game graphics and interactive applications. Its value is in the detail: what worked, what did not, how an implementation behaves and what other engineers can learn from it.
Traverse showed Evolve in public for the first time at the first edition, in November 2024. The programme connects to the wider research culture around the company: internal Show & Tell sessions, public meetups, university collaborations and published work.
The industry in the room
GPC’s 2026 sponsors include NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, JangaFX, Keen Games, DevSH, EA SEED, Superluminal, Qualcomm and Arm. The 2026 venue programme has a 400-seat main room and a 100-seat secondary room.
The conference returns to Breda in November. The programme, tickets, recordings and venue information belong on the GPC site, where they can stay current.

Beyond the conference
The local graphics community also includes the Traverse Research Meetup, university research and the open-source tools our engineers help build. Our July 2023 meetup included volumetric rendering using Rust; later presentations brought mobile global illumination and neural rendering to SIGGRAPH audiences.
